Ryan turned his interest in aviation into a lifelong career when he decided it was finally time to make his way to the skies and joined ATP Flight School, one of Aviate’s partners, in Houston.

“I would always hear a plane in the sky, find it and imagine where it was going,” Ryan recalled.

Once there, Ryan applied to Aviate when he realized that flying for United was his goal. After completing his ratings, he became an instructor and then went on to fly for CommuteAir, one of Aviate’s United Express partners.

Ryan recently received his wings and transitioned to United as a Houston (IAH)-based B737 First Officer.
