Ben B. grew up watching his father fly as an air show pilot for the Lima Lima Flight Team. He always knew becoming a pilot was his path.

With the support of his father and friends, he attended Western Michigan University and earned a degree in Aviation Flight Science. He was hired by GoJet and flew as a Captain and First Officer before transitioning to United through the Aviate program.

“I joined Aviate for the simplest reason: It is the most secure path to be hired as a United pilot. If you are reading this as a pilot in training with the goal of [flying for] United...this is your sign to join the Aviate program,” Ben shared.
