Pilot Forum | Airline pilot career outlook: navigating the industry in a post-COVID environment
United Airlines is offering two special events focused on the airline pilot profession after COVID-19. During these exclusive opportunities, you’ll gain unique industry insight from one of our incredible pilot leaders, get firsthand knowledge from our recruiting experts, and learn more about our commitment to your career in aviation.
Forum overview:
What does the airline pilot profession look like after COVID-19? The pandemic created uncertainty in the industry and unexpectedly impacted aviation career paths. This presentation, led by Managing Director of Aviate & Pilot Strategy Captain Curtis Brunjes and Senior Manager of Pilot Hiring Susan White, will provide insight into what current and future pilots can expect as they pursue a career in aviation. They will explain why now is the time to embark on your pilot career journey and how Aviate can help you reach your goals of becoming a commercial pilot. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

WomenVenture Evening Program
Get inspired by some of the most notable women in aviation at Theater in the Woods on Wednesday evening. The theme of this year’s evening program is “Passion. Fellowship. Aviation,” and it will celebrate powerful female pilots from many different flights of life, from the military, to airlines, and civil aviation backgrounds.
This atmosphere-shattering program will be moderated by Stephanie Stricklen – a student pilot, Emmy-award winning journalist, and EAA social media personality. Stephanie will lead an amazing panel, which will include our very own System Chief Pilot & Managing Director Captain Mary Ann Schafer!
