United launches new pilot hiring application

August 8, 2022

United is on a course to becoming the biggest and best airline in the history of aviation. This journey includes unprecedented fleet growth - taking delivery of a new mainline aircraft every three days beginning in 2023, transforming the customer experience, and growing United’s world-class team of aviation professionals. To help bring the best and brightest talent to the flight deck, United has officially launched a new pilot application system.

United has made the strategic decision to introduce a more user-friendly application, interview and onboarding platform for pilots and Aviate program candidates. The new application allows interested candidates to seamlessly move through our selection process for both the First Officer role and the Aviate program.

Candidates will have the ability to easily populate their information, save drafts, and update their applications after submission. Also, this user-friendly platform will accelerate the process of delivering United’s pilot hiring needs through enhanced applicant tracking throughout the hiring pipeline.

Whether you're applying to the Aviate program or directly to United as a First Officer, this modernized, mobile-friendly platform will streamline your application process and is customized to ensure that you can put your best foot forward with United.
