After taking an introductory flight in high school, Meero knew he wanted to fly. While majoring in Aviation Administration in college, he obtained his commercial license by building his flight time flying around the New York City skyline with his friends and family.

He was hired by Tradewind, an Aviate-participating Part 135 operator, before transitioning to United through the Aviate program.

“I wouldn’t have been able to go through my career if it weren’t for the support of my family, friends and colleagues. Having Aviate as an option was a dealbreaker; it is the [most secure] way to becoming a United Airlines First Officer,” shared Meero.
